	Features Huge savings. Requires just 5 minutes to understand operations. Fax will be sent as email if related email address is found. Fax will be sent as fax if related email address is not found. Fax2Mail can use existing compatible fax machines. Viewing Fax attachment The attachment sent by Fax2Mail is a standard "tiff" file that can be opened by Imaging software that comes with MS Windows 9X, MS Windows NT & MS Windows 2000 Operating System. Many other Imaging software can also open "tiff" files. Free imaging software to open "tiff" files are also available for Mac & NIX systems. Hardware Requirement:* (Note: you may already be having all of it) One PC with an Internet Email (using modem or ISDN TA) or access to an SMTP server on the LAN A compatible fax machine One modem with Rockwell Voice Chip to send/receive faxes. (Acer & US Robotics modems are not supported) Another modem Email may or may not be required for sending out email (see below) Software Requirement: One mail server (currently Fax2Mail supports only Mercury/32 - a free download) One fax program (currently Fax2Mail supports only FAXmaker - a free download) Ability to send out emails. It could be through DUN (You will need a modem or ISDN TA for this), or a permanent connection to Internet, or through an existing SMTP Server like MDaemon / MS Exchange Server / Lotus Notes etc.
